I’m so sad!!!
My 4yo son, Lightning, decided he wanted to play barber on my 2yo, Wendy. Aurora, my 6yo, had done this to Wendy several weeks ago. Her hair still needed to grow back, but we were able to save much of the length after Aurora’s haircutting job.
Now my sweet cute little girl, Wendy, has so little hair left. My mom had to chop it so short. The top looks the worst because there are several spots that are cut so close to her scalp. I’m grateful Lightning didn’t hurt Wendy or himself in the process. I’m just so sad that my baby girl looks like a boy now.
I’m going to go buy lace and bows and make her a bunch of headbands to cover the worst parts on the top of her head. In the meantime, here’s a couple pics to compare the amount of hair Wendy’s lost in the last month:

OH NO!!!
She’s still such a cutie!!! :)
Hey, if you’ll shoot me an email with where I can send them, I have some cute alligator clips/bows that I made that I’ll send your way! :)
I would love them! Thanks a bunch! I’m willing to pick them up from you if you prefer. I’m just still so frustrated with the whole thing, but I think I’m mostly frustrated at myself for not hiding the scissors better. They were high up in my cupboard, but my 4yo still knew where they were and decided to climb the counters to get them. I’ve learned the hard way that I need to keep them in my bedroom closet where even I have trouble getting to them. That makes it much more difficult to use them, but it’s worth it to keep my children’s hair on their heads!
Thanks again! That’s so sweet of you!
Oh Brandi! That must be so hard. I still think she looks cute :-) I can relate to having a little girl with really short hair. Nora started pulling out her hair in November. It is a self soothing method kind of like sucking her thumb. But, it is so sad. She has little bald patches all over :-( I keep looking at pictures and seeing that she had more hair at 6 months than she does now at 17 months :-(
Hopefully both of our little ones will have more hair soon!
